| 2006 Formby & Adams Leading Horse Cabernet Sauvignon
From the 'Brother's in Arms' stable comes this beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon from Langhorne Creek, South Australia. The nose is full of scented wood and dark cherries, with classic Cabernet liquorice and black currants. The palate is rich and supple but not overwhelming, the flavours linger as the tannins grab at the back of your cheeks. With many years ahead of it to display earthy complexity and broken down fruit subtlety, this young Cabernet is already a great drink. Tipping the scales at 15% alcohol, the wine is showing a little heat, but it doesn't detract from what is a lovely glass of wine, and the best news is it will cost about $20.
