2006 Gunderloch Jean Baptiste Kabinett Riesling
This is a beautiful expression of German Riesling. It is so delicate in the mouth as the wine teeters between acid and sweetness and it wafts white floral and talc stone to your nose. There is surely nothing that could be more delightful than the sweetness in this wine as it combines with good length and wonderful mouth feel. Taking delight from sweet wine is often seen as a sign of an immature palate, but experience and maturity cannot halt the staunch-less appetite for such a pure and beautiful style of wine. This will cost about $33 in good bottle shops.
