This wine is designed for comfort, although the pillion passenger on the little Vespa on the label might not agree. This is very good Pinot Grigio. It has lovely, round clean fruit, not a great amount of acid, but with a tomato based pasta, it still managed to deliver freshness, green apple and pear fruit, herbal notes and a tiny whiff of musk. The wine is clean, simple and designed to be enjoyed at the table. Its fresh, soft mouthfeel and flavour are not designed to hold your attention, but merely accompany other things. I don't want to make it sound bland, as it isn't, I would definitely keep a spot for it in my fridge any day. This wine is ready to be delivered to you for $15 a bottle. Saluté!
