Stunning and wonderful, this wine retails for around $20 dollars and offers extraordinary purity of fruit and savoury texture It is almost without comparison at this price point. It is a wonderful expression of Shiraz in a "Rhone" style, and displays savoury pepper and sour cherries, followed by pure raspberry fruit a milky acidity and sappy tannins. It doesn't have the depth and concentration of something like a 'By Farr' Shiraz but it is a worthy entry-level example of that style. I was quite simply stunned by it. Black olives and a hint of the sea make this wine as tasty as it is complex. This won't be on every bottle shop shelf, but it should be.
