I was looking forward to trying the new vintage of this wine, and it didn't let me down. Straight from the fridge it was a little closed on then nose, but offered nice texture and fresh red berried fruit. As the wine warmed up a little the robust character of the Garnacha ( Grenache) grape started to show itself more, which I really like. Rapberry and cream and pepper, with great acid and terrific colour, this is a wonderfully pleasing wine, and all for around $23.
