So this is undoubtedly an unusual label, the back label, or technically the front label - as that is where the alcohol information is - states, "it's just wrong" and nothing else. On the other side I thought it could have spelled LIVE, but I don't think it's meant to. This wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia and a joint project between wine importer Dan Phillips and cult wine maker Chris Ringland, of the famous and rare 'Three Rivers 'Shiraz. This wine has terrific impact, lots of dark fruits and is the colour of midnight, and most importantly tastes of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is forward and generous and mouthfilling. This is not my cup of tea, but a $13 dollar wine that tastes like it is meant to is definitely worth talking about. Good packaging, great concentration, and despite no real tannins to speak of, this goes into the bargains of the year section.
