This is a great example of Pinot Gris. The nose was obvious and forward, with ripe fruit and a hint of musk, and the palate was terrifically fresh with more than a suggestion of sweetness. I really enjoyed it, and enjoyed the fact that it says Gris on the label while also tasting as a Gris should- richer and more opulent than Grigio. My lasting memory of this wine is the perfume that it delivered, when it comes to the Alsatian aromatic whites, the New Zealanders are really doing a magnificent job.  This should retail for around $20.
