After starting out as a waiter in 1997, Ben's career has developed over the years to include writing and managing wine lists of up to 500 wines. In addition, he has been lucky to travel to various wine regions in the world and assist with the wine making process with some of Australia's leading winemakers, creating an expansive frame of reference from across the Australian and International wine industry.
"I believe that the right wines can have the most profound effect on you, an effect that will keep you hooked. Learning about wines is just as enjoyable as the discovery of those that you will remember forever. Importantly, this journey includes increasing our understanding of where the styles have come from, enabling us to experience and enjoy the vast differences between the mediocre and the sublime."
Ben's philosophy on wine is simple: drink it and enjoy it.
